Christians United for Israel (CUFI) tour groups from all over America will travel to Israel in March 2012. Under the direction of Pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond, Pastors Tim & Renee Burt of Living Word Christian Center and the pastors of Eagle Mountain Church of Newark, TX will be uniting and hosting this Israel tour led by Dr. Billye Brim. We have prepared a unique tour for CUFI Region 8 (Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) which will be led and joined by people who know Israel best: Dr. Billye Brim, Pastor Tim Burt, and our Israeli Jewish friends Rani Levy and Ilan Sharon. We are planning some very special and unique attractions on this tour!
- All CUFI tour groups will meet in Jerusalem for a Christians United for Israel Jerusalem Summit. The event will begin with a Night to Honor Israel celebration at the Jerusalem Convention Center. On the following day, we will attend a Middle East Intelligence Briefing Luncheon and take part in the CUFI Jerusalem Unity Walk through the streets of Jerusalem.
- Visit a combat Israeli military unit.
- Stop in Hadera to visit the Ethiopian and former Soviet Union school children.
- Tour a newly discovered ancient synagogue in Migdal.
- Visit the olive tree grove recently selected by Pastor Lynne.
ITINERARY*
Along the way: Drive north along the Mediterranean and visit Caesarea, the ancient Roman amphitheater and Herod’s port; Mt. Carmel, the site of Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal overlooking the Jezreel Valley; enjoy lunch in a Druze Village, and take in the views of Megiddo, the Valley of Armageddon.
The Sea of Galilee: Enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee, followed by visiting area sites where Jesus ministered such as Capernaum, and Tabgha, the traditional site of the miracle of loaves and fishes. Experience being baptized at Yardenit. Of course, a visit to Migdal Arbel, the future home of Dr. Billye Brim’s Study and Prayer Center.
The Golan Heights: Rani Levy will lead us in an unforgetable tour of the Golan Heights, site of the former Syrian fortifications, Gamla, Qazrin, and hear the moving account of what took place in the Valley of Tears.
South Along the Jordan Valley: Visit the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth at almost 1300 feet below sea level along with Masada, King Herod’s desertfortress palace.
Jerusalem: Tour the Old City of Jerusalem including the Jewish Quarter and Cardo, the Western Wall, and Southern Steps. Meet with Dov at the Shorashim bookstore and visit the Upper Room, Garden Tomb, and Mount of Olives with its panoramic view of Jerusalem, Kidron Valley, and Eastern Gate. We’ll also participate in CUFI events taking place in the city.
*The itinerary is subject to change as some sites are political in nature and day-to-day approval from the IDF is required.

- Price per person in double occupancy rooms: $5,180
- Single supplement for “no roomate”, or those asking to room alone: $1,680
- Land only (get your own air): $3,580

- March 16-22 - 6 nights at the David Citadel Hotel, Jerusalem
- March 22-25 - 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza, Dead Sea
- March 25-28 - 3 nights at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel, Tiberias
- Round-trip airfare from Minneapolis (LWCC) and from DFW (EMIC), respectively

- Entrance fees to all biblical and archaeological sites

NOT INCLUDED:
- Lunches (we stop at inspected Covenant-Tours locations only)
- Insurance (please encourage all tour members to obtain their own travel insurance)

PAYMENTS
- Your completed registration form and a deposit of $1,000 (per person on the list) is due on November 25, 2011.
- Full payment is due on February 5, 2012.
